"Heydar Aliyev and history of Azerbaijan" at the Heydar Aliyev Center

V national race was held

On October 18, Heydar Aliyev Center hosted the nationwide "Heydar Aliyev and Azerbaijan history" knowledge competition.

The event featured a national anthem and a video showing national leader Heydar Aliyev's address to young people.

The project, organized by the Heydar Aliyev Center and supported by the Ministry of Education, aims at studying the life and activity of the National Leader of Azerbaijan, promoting his heritage and promoting youth, as well as increasing the interest of the younger generation in science and education.

It was noted at the event that "Heydar Aliyev and the history of Azerbaijan" nationwide race is held every year since 2014. It is no coincidence that this race is held on October 18 - the Day of Independence. Today, 27 years have passed since the Republic of Azerbaijan regained its independence as the successor of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic. Although Azerbaijan restored its independence in 1991, the current situation in the country until mid-June 1993 showed that this independence was fragile. In 1993, the return of national leader Heydar Aliyev to the political power at the request of the people became the beginning of stability and development in Azerbaijan. Modern Azerbaijan has developed in every field under the leadership of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

It was noted that teams of 47 higher education institutions are taking part in the 5th All-National Knowledge Race "Heydar Aliyev and History of Azerbaijan". The teams of the Azerbaijan Institute of Theology and the Baku branch of Moscow State University named after M.Lomonosov have joined the competition for the first time this year.

4. Hajiyeva Kamala Adishirin

5. Hajiyeva Tarana Adishirin
