On October 7, 2025, an info session dedicated to the \u201cOrhun Exchange Program\u201d was held at Mingachevir State University (MSU) with the organization of the university\u2019s International Cooperation Office. The event, which took place in the university\u2019s assembly hall, brought together members of MSU\u2019s academic and administrative staff, as well as students and master\u2019s degree candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Opening the event with an introductory speech, Samira Ahmadova, Head of the International Cooperation Office of MSU, provided information about the international cooperation opportunities, dual degree programs, and exchange programs available for the university\u2019s teachers and students. In her speech, she emphasized the significant role of international experience in the academic and professional development of both teachers and students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Afterwards, the office coordinator, Parviz Mammadzayev, delivered a detailed presentation on the \u201cOrhun Exchange Program.\u201d He spoke about the objectives of the program, participation procedures, partner universities, and the opportunities created for students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the end of the info session, participants\u2019 questions were answered, and views were exchanged regarding the advantages of the exchange program and its implementation mechanisms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The main objective of the \u201cOrhun Exchange Program\u201d is to strengthen scientific, educational, and cultural ties among Turkic states, promote mutual understanding and friendship among young people, and encourage academic and research exchange among member universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Within the framework of the program, students and academic staff are able to participate in study and teaching exchange opportunities at more than 100 universities across Turkic states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It should be noted that the \u201cOrhun Exchange Program\u201d is an international initiative aimed at establishing a common higher education area in the Turkic world. The program was founded in 2017 by the Turkic Universities Union (T\u00dcRK\u00dcN\u0130B) and currently includes universities from T\u00fcrkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
