On 6 December 2025, within the framework of the III International Conference titled \u201cSustainable Development Strategy: Global Trends, National Experience and New Goals,\u201d hosted by Mingachevir State University, the \u201cKeynote Speakers\u201d session was held.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The session was moderated by Associate Professor Ceyhun Mikayilov, a researcher at the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC). The special session brought together renowned scholars from leading universities around the world and created an opportunity to discuss the latest scientific approaches in strategically important fields such as sustainable development, global economy, financial stability, food policy, decision-making under uncertainty, and energy-investment models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prof. \u0130ftekhar Hasan from Fordham University (USA) delivered a presentation titled \u201cGlobal Political Relations and Global Financial Circulation,\u201d analyzing the impact of international political relations on financial markets. He explained how geopolitical risks affect capitalization, cross-border investments, and financial institutionalization based on modern empirical examples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prof. Rodolfo Nayga from Texas A&M University presented innovative approaches related to food security and food market management. His talk on the \u201cLaboratory-grown meat market\u201d highlighted the impact of consumer behavior on sustainable production models and how these processes may shape future food policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prof. Dragan Pamucar from the University of Belgrade discussed innovative approaches in decision-making theory. He presented new methodologies for data processing in uncertain environments, defuzzification processes, and multi-criteria decision-making systems, with potential applications in energy, logistics, strategic planning, and security sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prof. Hasan Din\u00e7er from Istanbul Medipol University presented a hybrid decision-making approach for investors in microgrid projects titled \u201cQ-Ranked Orthopair Fuzzy Hybrid Decision-Making Approach.\u201d His research is of significant scientific and practical importance for improving investment risk assessment in sustainable energy and enhancing the efficiency of crowdfunding platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The \u201cKeynote Speakers\u201d panel demonstrated the high scientific level of the conference and facilitated the convergence of different academic schools of thought and experience. The presented topics covered a wide spectrum ranging from the global economic system and food security to AI-supported decision models and energy investments, once again emphasizing the importance of a multidimensional approach to sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the end of the session, participants\u2019 questions were addressed, and discussions were held.
