On December 5, 2025, an awareness seminar titled \u201cFood Shortage \u2013 a Global Problem and Its Causes\u201d<\/strong> was held at the Department of Physics and Ecology of Mingachevir State University (MSU). The seminar, organized at the Heydar Aliyev Center located in the university\u2019s second academic building, was attended by lecturers and students from the Faculties of Education and Engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The awareness seminar was organized at the initiative of the students of the K23 group of the Chemistry Teaching program<\/strong>. The main purpose of the event was to inform students about food shortage and food security issues, which are considered among the most pressing global problems today, and to discuss the causes of these problems as well as possible solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within the framework of the seminar, detailed information was provided on the concept and types of food shortage, the economic, social, and ecological causes of this problem, its impact on human health, and the measures taken to ensure food security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the event, students of the K23 group delivered presentations on the topic. Fatima Garayeva<\/strong> presented on \u201cFood Shortage \u2013 a Global Problem and Its Causes,\u201d Aysu Jafarova<\/strong> spoke about \u201cInnovative Solutions for Ensuring Food Security,\u201d and Sabina Mammadova<\/strong> presented on \u201cSocio-philosophical Aspects of the Use of Artificial Foods.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the seminar, presentations, explanations, and group discussions were held, and participants exchanged views on the topic. Within the framework of the event, the measures taken to address the problem of food shortage and the role of young people and students in this process were also discussed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Extensive discussions were held around the presented topics, and participants shared their opinions and received answers to their questions. At the same time, interesting proposals regarding possible solutions to the problem were voiced by the participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the seminar, it was noted that such awareness-raising events contribute significantly to a better understanding of the seriousness of the food shortage problem and to increasing knowledge about healthy nutrition and food security. It was also emphasized that adopting proper eating habits in everyday life is of great importance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, the seminar was evaluated by participants as useful and informative, and the importance of organizing more awareness activities on food security and healthy nutrition in the future was highlighted.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
