On March 5, 2025, a seminar on \u201cMethods of Monitoring and Analysis of Pollution in Reservoir Basins\u201d was held at S. Vurgun No. 16 Technical and Natural Sciences Lyceum, organized by the Department of Physics and Ecology of Mingachevir State University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The seminar featured presentations by lecturers of the Department of Physics and Ecology on various topics. The main objective of the event was to raise awareness among school students about the protection of water resources, their efficient management, and environmental challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Within the framework of the seminar, Natavan Valiyeva, a lecturer of the department, delivered a presentation on \u201cProtection and Efficient Use of Water Resources in the Modern Era,\u201d highlighting the importance of conserving water resources and modern approaches applied in this field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then, Gulmira Mammadova, a lecturer of the same department, presented on \u201cReservoirs and Their Environmental Problems,\u201d addressing ecological risks in water bodies, sources of pollution, and prevention methods. She also acted as the moderator of the seminar, contributing to the effective organization of discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finally, G\u00fclg\u00fcn Israfilova, another lecturer of the department, spoke on \u201cEcological Problems of Azerbaijan\u2019s Reservoirs and Sustainable Management Approaches,\u201d providing insights into the current state of water resources in the country, environmental challenges, and sustainable management mechanisms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the end of the event, discussions were held with participants and school students, their questions were answered, and an exchange of ideas took place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
