A training session on \u201cClimate Risk Assessment and Adaptation Mechanisms\u201d was held at Mingachevir State University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Organized within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the main objective of the training was to enhance participants\u2019 knowledge and skills in identifying climate-related risks, assessing their impacts, and understanding adaptation mechanisms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the training, the effects of climate change\u2014such as extreme weather events, rising temperatures, water scarcity, and other environmental challenges\u2014on the economy and society were explained in detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Participants were informed about the methods of climate risk assessment, including the stages of risk identification, analysis, and prioritization. In addition, adaptation mechanisms\u2014measures aimed at reducing the impact of these risks\u2014such as the development of sustainable infrastructure, efficient management of water and energy resources, adaptation strategies in agriculture, and the role of early warning systems were widely discussed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The importance of public policies, international cooperation, and local-level actions in enhancing resilience to climate change was also highlighted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
