On December 29, 2025, the opening ceremony of the Economic Analytics and Modeling Laboratory (EAML), established with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was held at Mingachevir State University (MSU).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event was attended by the university\u2019s leadership, members of the academic and administrative staff, Member of Parliament Ceyhun M\u0259mm\u0259dov, as well as members of the Public Council under the Ministry of Science and Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speakers at the event emphasized that the laboratory is an integral part of ongoing reforms in modern economic analysis and digital modeling, highlighting its importance in strengthening research activities in higher education, applying contemporary economic approaches, and enhancing students\u2019 practical competencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was noted that the primary objective of EAML is to provide scientific analysis of economic processes, develop econometric and analytical models, expand forecasting capabilities, and support evidence-based decision-making. The laboratory will also create broad opportunities for students studying economics and related fields to reinforce their theoretical knowledge through practical application, while enabling faculty members and researchers to conduct advanced scientific research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The laboratory is equipped with modern computer systems installed with specialized software in econometrics, statistics, and economic modeling. These tools will facilitate the analysis of large-scale economic data, the modeling of various economic scenarios, and the execution of complex computational tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It should be noted that the activities of the Economic Analytics and Modeling Laboratory will make a significant contribution to the development of the research environment at Mingachevir State University, the application of innovative approaches, and the training of competitive professionals aligned with labor market demands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
