On May 10, 2026, the \u201cMDU Green Campus Sports Festival\u201d will be held at Mingachevir State University, jointly organized by Mingachevir State University and the Central Aran Regional Youth and Sports Department. The festival is dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. The event will take place at the \u201cKur\u201d Olympic Training and Sports Center in Mingachevir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Serving as a clear example of the university\u2019s commitment to social responsibility, the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, and environmental sustainability, the festival reflects the practical implementation of MDU\u2019s \u201cGreen Campus\u201d concept. The main objective of the event is to promote a healthy lifestyle among students and academic staff, increase physical activity, and foster environmentally responsible behavior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
