A Memorandum of Understanding aimed at developing cooperation in the fields of education, science, and academic collaboration has been signed between Mingachevir State University (MSU) and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, one of Kazakhstan\u2019s leading higher education institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The memorandum envisages the exchange of students, master\u2019s and doctoral candidates, academic staff, and administrative personnel between the universities, as well as the organization of joint seminars and academic programs, and the implementation of collaborative scientific research and innovation projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Within the framework of the cooperation, discussions are also being held on expanding opportunities under the Erasmus+ and Orhun Exchange Programs, promoting international academic mobility, and establishing practice-oriented partnership mechanisms between the universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to fostering mutually beneficial cooperation between the parties, the signed memorandum aims to contribute to the further strengthening of scientific, educational, and cultural-humanitarian relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. At the same time, the document is of significant importance in terms of expanding the universities\u2019 integration into the international educational space and enhancing the exchange of knowledge and experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It should be noted that Al-Farabi Kazakh National University holds leading positions in national rankings both institutionally and across academic programs. The university\u2019s ranking at 163rd place in the QS World University Rankings and its inclusion in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings reflect its growing international academic reputation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the key priorities of the university\u2019s development strategy is internationalization. Currently, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has more than 500 international cooperation agreements with universities and research centers around the world. During the 2021\u20132022 academic year, more than 100 foreign professors and researchers from 30 countries were engaged in teaching and scientific activities at the university. In addition, over 40 university professors delivered lectures at higher education institutions in Hungary, Germany, France, the United States, T\u00fcrkiye, Uzbekistan, and other countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The number of international students at the university continues to grow each year, with more than 2,500 undergraduate, master\u2019s, and doctoral students from over 30 countries currently studying there. This once again demonstrates the university\u2019s strong commitment to a multicultural academic environment, global partnerships, and an innovative higher education model.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
