At the event, Gunay Aliyeva, a lecturer from the university\u2019s Department of Information Technologies, delivered a comprehensive presentation. She highlighted key areas such as optimizing water consumption on campus, eliminating leakages, maintaining water quality, and ensuring effective wastewater management. It was noted that within the framework of phased targets for 2024\u20132027, reducing water consumption and digitalizing water management are top priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The presentation also emphasized the role of climate models in future water resource planning. These models enable the early assessment of drought risks and factors affecting water quality, facilitating more flexible and scientifically grounded decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Practical approaches were also introduced during the training. Participants were informed about the feasibility of implementing simple yet effective solutions in the campus environment, such as rainwater harvesting systems, collecting air conditioner condensate, and reusing it for technical purposes. These approaches contribute to preserving green areas and reducing water waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Additionally, attention was drawn to measures already implemented at the university. The modernization of wastewater management infrastructure has improved sanitation levels and reduced environmental risks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The importance of awareness-raising activities was also underscored. As a result of numerous events held in recent years, a stronger sense of responsibility toward water has developed among students and staff, fostering an environmentally conscious mindset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
