The XXI Scientific Conference of the Student Scientific Society was held at the Faculty of Engineering of Mingachevir State University within the framework of the \u201cArchitecture and Urban Planning Year \u2013 2026.\u201d The conference was attended by faculty administration, academic staff, and students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Opening the event with an introductory speech, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Almaz Aliyeva spoke about the importance of scientific research in the fields of architecture and urban planning in the modern era, emphasizing the significance of involving students in scientific activities in these areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following the opening speech, students presented their reports. Among the presenters were students of the Faculty of Engineering at MSU: Fatima Aliyeva with the topic \u201cClimate Change and Modern Architecture: Adaptation and Development Perspectives,\u201d Nahid Garayev with \u201cApplication of Digital Twin Technology in Urban Energy Systems and Evaluation of Optimization Potential,\u201d and Elvin Mahmudov with \u201cAn Intelligent System for Real-Time Assessment of Engine Oil Quality.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition, Ismayil Hasanzade and Naila Nuriyeva delivered a joint presentation on \u201cAI Technologies in Detecting Attacks Against Urban Information Systems.\u201d Kamila Ibrahimova presented \u201cResilience of Critical Infrastructure (Energy, Water, Transport) to Emergencies,\u201d while Mahammad Mammadli discussed \u201cUrbanization and Artificial Intelligence: Designing the Cities of the Future.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Other presentations included Jamilad Mammadzade with \u201cHow Do Cities Store Energy? Secrets of Adaptive Architecture,\u201d Nurjan Huseynova with \u201cCities Speak: The Impact of Architecture on Human Life,\u201d and Omar Alcanov with \u201cThe Impact of Electric Transportation on Urban Energy Systems \u2013 EV Charging Infrastructure and Peak Load Problems.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, Nargiz Vahidli delivered a presentation on \u201cThe Role of Green Roof Systems in Ecosystems,\u201d Ravana Hidayanova spoke on \u201cModern Problems of Architecture and Urban Planning and Directions of Sustainable Development,\u201d while Anar Ramazanli and Solmaz Gasimli presented on \u201cThe Role of Smart City Technologies in Urban Planning Processes\u201d and \u201cPrinciples of Water-Resilient Architecture and Its Role in Urban Planning,\u201d respectively. The presented reports attracted great interest from conference participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Within the framework of the conference, extensive discussions were held on contemporary urban planning, sustainable development, digital technologies, and the application of artificial intelligence. Participants also exchanged views on developing students\u2019 scientific research skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
