On May 22, 2026, a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at the development of academic collaboration was signed between Mingachevir State University (MDU) and BINUS University, Malaysia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The memorandum envisions the expansion of cooperation within the framework of MDU\u2019s internationalization strategy in the fields of higher education, scientific research, innovation, and the development of modern university governance models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The signing of the document took place during a business visit of Samira Ahmadova, Head of the International Relations and Cooperation Department of MDU, to Malaysia. During the visit, she attended BINUS University and closely familiarized herself with the university\u2019s campus infrastructure, material and technical resources, digital learning environment, laboratories, and innovation-oriented ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the meetings, opportunities for cooperation between the parties were discussed in areas such as student and academic staff exchange, joint scientific research projects, innovation and startup initiatives, digital transformation, experience sharing, and institutional development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was noted that in today\u2019s modern higher education environment, partnerships between universities play an important role not only in knowledge exchange but also in strengthening innovative thinking, sustainable development approaches, and digital competencies. This approach contributes to the integration of universities into the global academic space and the formation of competitive human capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The memorandum signed between MDU and BINUS University creates new opportunities for future joint projects, academic mobility programs, scientific research cooperation, and innovation-oriented initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
