On January 12, 2026, a seminar titled \u201cEnvironmentally Friendly Business Practices in Tourism\u201d was organized by the Lifelong Learning School of Mingachevir State University. The seminar, held in a hybrid format via the Microsoft Teams platform, was attended by a group of lecturers and students of the university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the seminar, Professor Evren G\u00fc\u00e7er from Ankara Hac\u0131 Bayram Veli University delivered a presentation. In his speech, Prof. G\u00fc\u00e7er discussed the impact of tourism and business activities on the environment, the principles of sustainable development, and the importance of environmentally responsible management. He emphasized the significance of efficient resource use, waste reduction, and the application of the \u201cReduce \u2013 Reuse \u2013 Recycle\u201d principles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The main purpose of the seminar was to inform students about reducing the environmental impact of enterprises operating in the tourism sector, implementing sustainable development principles, and promoting the \u201cgreen business\u201d approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the end of the seminar, participants\u2019 questions were answered and discussions were held on the topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
