Within the framework of the \u201cOne Hour, A Thousand Thoughts\u201d project implemented with the support of the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation, another awareness-raising meeting was organized at Mingachevir State University. The author of the project is Aydin Karimov, a lecturer at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the meeting held at the university, project participants came together with war veteran Aygun Tahirova. The event was attended by staff members of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of MSU, including Aydin Karimov, Ilhama Ismayilova, Shabnam Islamova, and Aynur Guliyeva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the meeting, extensive discussions were held regarding the veteran\u2019s honorable combat path, life story, and example of service to the homeland. Participants received information about the bravery and sacrifice demonstrated by Aygun Tahirova during the First Karabakh War.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was noted that Aygun Tahirova was born on December 10, 1964, in the city of Mingachevir. She graduated from Secondary School No. 13 in Mingachevir and received higher education in history. During the First Karabakh War, she participated in battles fought in the direction of Tartar, including the territories of Ashagi Chaylag, Yukhari Chaylag, Hasangaya, and Livanarx. On November 30, 1992, she was seriously wounded during a battle on the Drambon road in the direction of Aghdara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting was held in a sincere and proud atmosphere. During her speech, veteran Aygun Tahirova expressed her gratitude for the attention and care shown to veterans by the Azerbaijani state and society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was emphasized during the event that such meetings are of special importance in educating young people in the spirit of patriotism, strengthening their commitment to national values, and shaping their civic position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
