On November 28, 2025, the \u201cSummit of the Professions of the Future\u201d was held under the organization of the State Employment Agency of Azerbaijan operating under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The summit, which aimed to discuss changes occurring in the labor market, new professional and skill requirements, and the impact of technology and innovation trends on the world of work, as well as to present new approaches to education, employment, and employer partnerships, was attended by Anar Eminov, Rector of Mingachevir State University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The main purpose of the summit was to forecast the future needs of the labor market, support young people in career planning, ensure proper career guidance, and create a platform for discussing strategic solutions aimed at the development of human capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the opening ceremony of the summit, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Anar Aliyev, First Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ali Ahmadov, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of Azerbaijan Orkhan Mammadov, and other government officials delivered speeches. They shared their views on the opportunities created for Azerbaijan by global changes in the labor market, the growing demand for new professions and specializations, and the strategic importance of preparing young people for their future professional activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the event, local and international speakers delivered presentations on several \u0430\u043a\u0442\u0443al topics, and panel discussions were organized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Within the framework of the summit, special attention was paid to identifying future professions and competencies, sharing new trends in the business world, further strengthening education\u2013employment\u2013employer relations, discussing educational approaches aligned with labor market demands, and presenting practical models that could also be implemented in the regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
