On November 7, 2025, a scientific-practical conference dedicated to Victory Day was held at Mingachevir State University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The conference, organized in the assembly hall of the university\u2019s second academic building, was attended by members of the university\u2019s academic and administrative staff, as well as students and master\u2019s degree candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan and a one-minute silence in memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the liberation of the country\u2019s territories and the sovereignty of the state. Afterwards, a video dedicated to November 8 \u2013 Victory Day was presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The conference was opened by Esmira Jafarova, Head of the Department of Humanities at the university. In her speech, she emphasized that the historic Victory achieved during the Patriotic War was a triumph of the Azerbaijani people\u2019s national will, the unity between the state and the people, and the determined leadership of the Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She noted that raising young people in a patriotic spirit is of strategic importance for the future of the country. E. Jafarova stressed that educating the younger generation in the spirit of national values, strengthening loyalty to the ideals of statehood, and fostering devotion to the Motherland are among the main responsibilities of every educational institution. She also highlighted the importance of enlightening students and nurturing them with respect for national and moral values, state symbols, and the country\u2019s heroic history. In addition, she underlined that increasing young people\u2019s interest in science, education, and public activity is an essential component of patriotic upbringing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the presentations, which were met with great interest by the participants, MDU student and Patriotic War participant Gudrat Mammadov spoke about his combat experience and recited a poem dedicated to Victory Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It should be noted that the purpose of the event was to commemorate the glorious Victory of the Azerbaijani people and army and to convey to the younger generation the significant role of the historic Victory achieved in the Patriotic War in strengthening national solidarity and the history of Azerbaijani statehood.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
