On November 4, 2025, an awareness-raising event on the topic \u201cWays to Prevent Radicalism and Extremism Tendencies Among Youth in the Modern Era\u201d was held at Mingachevir State University. The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations, with the support of the Central Aran Regional Youth and Sports Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event began with the performance of the National Anthem and a one-minute silence in memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the heroes who were martyred for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Afterwards, a documentary film titled \u201cHeydar Aliyev and Religious Policy\u201d was screened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the event, speeches on the topic were delivered by Elshan Huseynov, sector head at the Ministry of Youth and Sports; Kamal Najafli, Deputy Head of the Central Aran Regional Youth and Sports Department; and Faiq Ahmadzade, lecturer at the Baku Theology College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The speakers emphasized the importance of shaping young people with a healthy mindset, ensuring their loyalty to national and moral values, and keeping them away from radical appeals. It was noted that strengthening awareness-raising activities, preventing false ideological influences on social media, and creating a healthy information environment for young people are of great importance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
