On 15\u201316 April 2026, the \u201cAk\u00e7akoca Tourism and Economics Symposium\u201d<\/strong> was held at D\u00fczce University, T\u00fcrkiye, in partnership with Mingachevir State University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The symposium, dedicated to discussions on tourism, economics, regional development, sustainable cooperation and academic exchange, brought together researchers and specialists from various institutions. Along with Mingachevir State University, representatives of Mingachevir Tourism College also actively participated in the event. In total, nearly 40 papers were submitted to the symposium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main purpose of the international scientific event was to discuss current challenges in the fields of tourism and economics, expand inter-university scientific cooperation, promote academic exchange among researchers, and analyze regional development perspectives on a scientific basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the notable aspects of the symposium was the organization of live section meetings at Mingachevir State University on 16 April, simultaneously with D\u00fczce University. This format was implemented in Azerbaijan for the first time within the framework of the symposium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the section meetings held at MSU, presentations by the authors who had submitted papers to the symposium were delivered and discussed. The presentations were received with great interest by the participants, and the sessions continued in an interactive and discussion-based format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The discussions covered various scientific approaches related to the development directions of tourism, the regional impact of economic processes, strengthening human capital, sustainable development approaches, and the role of higher education institutions in these processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The participation of Mingachevir State University in such international scientific platforms within the framework of partnership cooperation is of particular importance in terms of strengthening the university\u2019s scientific potential, supporting the integration of its academic staff into the international academic environment, and developing interregional scientific relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It should be noted that MSU continues to carry out consistent activities aimed at promoting internationalization, scientific cooperation and applied research.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
