On June 11, 2026, the \u201cEcovolley\u201d Volleyball Tournament was organized within the framework of the \u201cInternationalization, Innovation and Sustainable Development Week\u201d held at Mingachevir State University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Organized by MSU\u2019s Department for Business Relations and Alumni Affairs, the tournament took place at the volleyball court of Mingachevir City Stadium. Teams consisting of the University\u2019s part-time students, teachers, as well as representatives of partner institutions and industry participated in the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The main purpose of the tournament was to strengthen the informal cooperation environment among students, academic staff, the business community and partner organizations, promote a healthy lifestyle, develop teamwork skills and expand university\u2013industry relations on a more dynamic platform. The \u201cEcovolley\u201d tournament also contributed to the promotion of the green campus approach, ecological thinking and social responsibility principles formed at MSU through sports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A total of 8 teams competed in the tournament, which was marked by intense and exciting matches. Throughout the competition, participants demonstrated strong determination, team spirit and healthy rivalry. The event once again showed that sports in the university environment are not only a means of physical activity, but also an important tool for strengthening social relations and developing leadership and cooperation skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the results of the tournament, the \u201cAlfa\u201d team consisting of MSU students took first place, the team of the Mingachevir City Education Sector ranked second, and the team of Kur Preparatory Course took third place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the end, the winning teams were awarded cups, medals and diplomas. The event was met with great interest by the participants and was evaluated as an important initiative in terms of further strengthening the University\u2019s relations with the business community, partner institutions and the student community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
