The International Conference on Earth Systems, Green Energy and Regional Resilience (ESGERR\u20132026) will be held on 23\u201325 September 2026 in Mingachevir, Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ESGERR\u20132026 aims to provide an international interdisciplinary platform for researchers, academics, industry experts, policymakers and young scientists to exchange knowledge, present recent findings and discuss innovative approaches to addressing contemporary environmental, energy and regional development challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The increasing impacts of climate change, the growing frequency and intensity of natural hazards, rapid urbanization, rising energy demands and the global transition towards low-carbon economies have created an urgent need for integrated scientific solutions and stronger cooperation among Earth scientists, environmental specialists, engineers, geographers and decision-makers. The Conference seeks to foster dialogue and collaborative research initiatives contributing to sustainable development at local, regional and global scales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Particular attention will be devoted to climate adaptation and mitigation, renewable and green energy systems, geospatial technologies, artificial intelligence applications in Earth Sciences, sustainable management of natural resources, socio-ecological resilience, geotourism and nature-based development strategies. In addition, the Conference supports discussions on sustainable urban development and cultural landscapes, taking into consideration the declaration of 2026 as the \u201cYear of Urban Planning and Architecture\u201d in the Republic of Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hosted in Mingachevir, one of Azerbaijan’s major industrial, energy and educational centers, ESGERR\u20132026 is jointly organized by Mingachevir State University and the Institute of Geography. The Conference aims to strengthen national and international scientific cooperation, encourage interdisciplinary research and contribute to the dissemination of high-quality scientific knowledge in the fields of Earth Sciences, environmental sustainability and regional resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All accepted and presented papers will be published in a Special Issue of a Scopus-indexed Q3 journal following editorial and formatting requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
