leadership of our Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev\u00a0and thanks to the heroism of the brave Azerbaijani Soldier, the historic Victory achieved in the 44-day Patriotic War once again demonstrated to the whole world the strength, unity, and invincibility of the Azerbaijani people. By liberating our ancestral and native lands from occupation and putting an end to thirty years of longing for the homeland, our courageous officers and soldiers wrote glorious pages of our history at the cost of their lives and blood.<\/div><div data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">During this historic march to victory, 4 employees, more than 120 students, and graduates of Mingachevir State University (MSU) participated, and 5 graduates\u2014Oruc Najafli, Kenan Abdullayev, Azami Huseynov, Faiq Hasanov, and Yusif Jafarov\u2014rose to the \u0432\u0435\u0440\u0448\u0438\u043d\u0430 of martyrdom.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">We take pride in our heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence, territorial integrity, and sovereignty of our Motherland, and we always honor their cherished memory with deep respect and gratitude.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Oruc Najafli was born on October 6, 1989, in Tanrigulular village of Yevlakh district. After graduating from Secondary School No. 8 named after Nizami Ganjavi\u00a0in Mingachevir, he received higher education in \u201cInformatics and Computer Engineering\u201d at Mingachevir Polytechnic Institute (now MSU) during 2007\u20132011.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">During the Patriotic War, which began on September 27, 2020, O. Najafli took part in the battles for the liberation of Sugovushan and in the Tartar-Aghdara direction, and was martyred on November 6.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">By the relevant decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, O. Najafli was awarded the \u201cFor the Motherland\u201d medal.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Kenan Abdullayev was born on December 3, 1990, in Mingachevir. After graduating from Secondary School No. 16, he studied at the Faculty of Economics of Mingachevir Polytechnic Institute (now MSU) from 2011 to 2015.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">During the Patriotic War, Lieutenant K. Abdullayev participated in the battles for the liberation of Sugovushan settlement of Tartar district and was martyred on October 16.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">According to relevant decrees of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, K. Abdullayev was awarded the \u201cFor the Motherland\u201d and \u201cFor Bravery\u201d medals, as well as the 3rd-degree order \u201cFor Service to the Motherland.\u201d<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Azami Huseynov was born on August 29, 1992, in Mingachevir. After graduating from Secondary School No. 14, he studied at the Faculty of Energy at Mingachevir Polytechnic Institute (now MSU) from 2010 to 2014.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">During the Patriotic War, A. Huseynov participated in the battles for the liberation of Sugovushan and was martyred on October 8.<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">According to relevant decrees of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, A. Huseynov was awarded the \u201cFor the Motherland,\u201d \u201cFor the Liberation of Sugovushan,\u201d and \u201cBrave Warrior\u201d medals, as well as the 3rd-degree order \u201cFor Service to the Motherland.\u201d<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Faiq Hasanov was born on July 28, 1990, in Baku. After graduating from Secondary School No. 189\u2013190 in Sabail district, he studied at the Faculty of Economics at Mingachevir Polytechnic Institute (now MSU) from 2008 to 2012.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">During the Patriotic War, Warrant Officer F. Hasanov participated in the battles for the liberation of Jabrayil and Fuzuli and was martyred on October 5.<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">According to relevant decrees of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, F. Hasanov was awarded the \u201cFor the Motherland,\u201d \u201cFor the Liberation of Jabrayil,\u201d and, by the relevant order of the Ministry of Defense, the \u201cFor Courage\u201d medals.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Yusif Jafarov was born on April 25, 1996, in Shirvan. After graduating from Secondary School No. 2 in Shirvan, he studied at the Faculty of Economics of MSU from 2013 to 2017.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">During the Patriotic War, Y. Jafarov participated in the battles for the liberation of Jabrayil, Zangilan, and Gubadli and was martyred on November 4.<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">According to relevant decrees of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, he was awarded the \u201cFor the Motherland,\u201d \u201cFor the Liberation of Jabrayil,\u201d and \u201cFor the Liberation of Gubadli\u201d medals.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Gorxmaz Isgandarov was born on October 23, 1999, in Taxta-Korpu settlement of Aghjabadi district. He was originally from Lachin district. He studied in the specialty \u201cOrganization and Management of Industry\u201d at the Faculty of Economics and Management of MSU from 2017 to 2021.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div class=\"x_elementToProof\">He was martyred on September 12, 2022, while preventing large-scale provocations committed by the armed forces of
