On July 24, 2025, a Memorandum of Cooperation on joint collaboration was signed between Mingachevir State University (MSU) and the Azerbaijan-Turkey Businessmen Association (ATIB). The document was signed by the Rector of MSU, Anar Eminov, and the Chairman of the Board of ATIB, Mursal Rustamov. On the occasion of signing the memorandum, a delegation led by University Rector A. Eminov visited the ATIB office. During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on mutual cooperation and discussed opportunities for transitioning university-industry cooperation to a new stage. Rector Anar Eminov emphasized the enhancement of students’ practical skills and supporting their more prepared entry into the labor market as one of the strategic goals of the university. Highlighting the importance of direct cooperation with industry representatives for this purpose, he evaluated the memorandum signed with ATIB as a significant step in this direction. The Rector expressed his gratitude for the opportunities provided by the association and voiced his confidence that this cooperation would also contribute to the economic and social development of the region. M. Rustamov, Chairman of the Board of ATIB, stated that cooperation with higher education institutions occupies an important place in the Association’s activities and shared information about their work. Appreciating MSU’s development trends and approaches that meet the challenges of the labor market, he emphasized his belief that this cooperation would benefit both the studying youth and the business world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Within the framework of the signed memorandum, the parties agreed to cooperate in a number of areas. These include involving students in internships at ATIB member companies, organizing career and job fairs, involving business professionals in university classes, supporting innovation and startup initiatives, developing tripartite projects (with Turkish partners), organizing scholarship programs, and implementing joint scientific and practical events. The memorandum will also enable the establishment of closer ties between ATIB member companies and MSU, as well as the organization of professional development programs aimed at the career growth of university staff and students. Furthermore, during the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize meetings between businessmen who are members of the association and the staff and students of Mingachevir State University in September-October 2025, and to continue discussions on the employment of university graduates in the city of Mingachevir. It should be noted that this memorandum aims to establish an efficient, sustainable, and mutually beneficial cooperation between the parties, while also aiming to make a significant contribution to the development of university-industry integration in the country.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
