{"id":84581,"date":"2026-02-20T08:56:00","date_gmt":"2026-02-20T05:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mdu.edu.az\/?p=84581"},"modified":"2026-02-20T13:05:00","modified_gmt":"2026-02-20T10:05:00","slug":"a-module-training-titled-what-is-a-project-was-held-at-mingachevir-state-university","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mdu.edu.az\/ru\/a-module-training-titled-what-is-a-project-was-held-at-mingachevir-state-university\/","title":{"rendered":"A Module Training Titled \u2018What Is a Project?\u2019 Was Held at Mingachevir State University"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On <strong>February 11, 2026<\/strong>, a module training titled <strong>\u201cWhat Is a Project?\u201d<\/strong> was organized at <strong>Mingachevir State University<\/strong> by the Department of Science and Innovations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The training was delivered by university lecturer <strong>Rasim Hashimov<\/strong> and attended by a group of MSU staff members, particularly faculty interested in project writing and project management in the academic field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the session, participants were provided with detailed information on the essence of the project concept, the meaning of the term <em>\u201cprojectus,\u201d<\/em> the classification of projects (by scale, duration, structure, type, and location), as well as the main stages of the project life cycle \u2014 <strong>initiation, concept development, implementation, monitoring, and closure<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Special emphasis was placed on internal and external environmental factors influencing projects (political, economic, socio-cultural, scientific-technological, legal, and environmental factors), as well as the key project constraints \u2014 the balance between <strong>time, budget, and scope<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the core components of the training focused on the preparation of a <strong>Project Charter<\/strong>. Participants were introduced to its main sections, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Initial justification and business needs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stakeholder identification<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Project goals and objectives (based on the SMART principle)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scope definition<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preliminary timeline and key milestones<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Initial budget<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Project team structure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>General risks and success criteria<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, practical explanations were provided on the main project management process groups \u2014 <strong>initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closure<\/strong>. Topics such as risk management, development of a communication plan, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement mechanisms were also discussed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The training continued in an interactive discussion and brainstorming format.
