{"id":89037,"date":"2025-09-20T20:12:00","date_gmt":"2025-09-20T17:12:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mdu.edu.az\/?p=89037"},"modified":"2026-03-10T20:14:00","modified_gmt":"2026-03-10T17:14:00","slug":"social_20-09-25","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mdu.edu.az\/ru\/social_20-09-25\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cSocial Bridges\u201d Startup Marathon held at Mingachevir State University"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On March 10, 2026, the <strong>\u201cSocial Bridges\u201d Startup Marathon<\/strong> dedicated to <strong>SDG 10 \u2013 Reduced Inequalities<\/strong>, one of the <strong>United Nations Sustainable Development Goals<\/strong>, was held at the Mingachevir Youth House. The event was jointly organized by the <strong>Departments of Information Technologies and Humanities of Mingachevir State University (MSU)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main objective of the marathon was to present projects that contribute to expanding equal opportunities in society through students\u2019 social innovation and startup ideas, promoting social inclusion, and strengthening connections among different social groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the event, <strong>six teams of students representing both departments<\/strong> presented their startup projects aimed at promoting social equality and offering innovative solutions to social challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The projects presented at the marathon were as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cEqual Step\u201d Team<\/strong><br>Project: <strong>AccessMap \u2013 Accessible City Map<\/strong><br>Team members:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Arzu Guliyeva \u2013 T24<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deniz Jafarli \u2013 T24<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Polad Bayramov \u2013 T23.2<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cOrbital\u201d Team<\/strong><br>Project: <strong>Re-Route<\/strong><br>Team members:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Umid Mirzammammadov \u2013 IT 23.1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nicat Suleymanov \u2013 IT 24.1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ilaha Majidli \u2013 IT 24.1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mahammadali Shikhiyev \u2013 IT 24.1<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cEqualway\u201d Team<\/strong><br>Project: <strong>Transport Bridge<\/strong><br>Team members:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Nihat Mahmudov \u2013 IT 23.1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rovshan Mammad \u2013 IT 23.2<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nihat Mustafazade \u2013 IT 23.1<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cBridge of the Future\u201d Team<\/strong><br>Project: <strong>Opportunities from Village to City<\/strong><br>Team members:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Seymur Aliyev \u2013 IT 23.1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Parvin Alimammadov \u2013 IT 23.1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ruslan Rafiyev \u2013 IT 23.1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Umid Mirzammammadov \u2013 IT 23.1<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cSocial Innovators\u201d Team<\/strong><br>Project: <strong>Bridge Up \u2013 A digital platform connecting youth directly with industry professionals<\/strong><br>Team members:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Khumar Mammadli \u2013 T23.1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turkan Shikhmammadova \u2013 T23.1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ragsana Zulfugarova \u2013 T23.2<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cBridgeMakers\u201d Team<\/strong><br>Project: <strong>Invest Bridge<\/strong><br>Team members:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Nicat Abdilov \u2013 IT 23.2<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Omar Israilov \u2013 IT 23.2<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nurlan Jafarli \u2013 IT 23.2<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sanan Ilyasov \u2013 IT 23.2<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Murad Abdulkhaliqov \u2013 IT 23.2<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>After listening to the project presentations, the results of the marathon were determined based on the scores given by the experts. The winners were announced as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>1st place \u2013 \u201cBridgeMakers\u201d team with 27 points<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2nd place \u2013 \u201cEqualway\u201d team with 23 points<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>3rd place \u2013 \u201cOrbital\u201d team with 20 points<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The projects were evaluated by the experts: <strong>Vafa Maharramova<\/strong>, Director of the Lifelong Learning Center; <strong>Leyla Ismayilzade<\/strong>, lecturer at the Department of Information Technologies; and <strong>Shalala Guliyeva<\/strong>, lecturer at the Department of Humanities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It should be noted that such initiatives contribute to the development of students\u2019 skills in <strong>innovative thinking, social entrepreneurship, and startup culture<\/strong>, while also supporting the generation of new ideas and solutions aligned with the <strong>Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 10 \u2013 Reduced Inequalities<\/strong>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On March 10, 2026, the \u201cSocial Bridges\u201d Startup Marathon dedicated to SDG 10 \u2013 Reduced Inequalities, one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, was held at the Mingachevir Youth House.
