She underlined that climate leadership is not solely the responsibility of governments and international institutions, but also requires active engagement from society &#8211; particularly young people, whose innovation, creativity, and determination are essential for building a sustainable future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event featured a series of insightful presentations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Fatima Mammadova<\/strong>, Instructor at the Department of Physics and Ecology, delivered a presentation on <em>\u201cChallenges and Opportunities for Youth in Adaptation to Climate Change.\u201d<\/em> She emphasized practical ways in which young people can actively contribute to climate adaptation strategies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mehriban Shiraliyeva<\/strong>, Instructor at the Department of Foreign Languages, presented <em>\u201cWhat the Earth Could Look Like in 2050?\u201d<\/em> offering a thought-provoking perspective on possible future scenarios and stressing the urgency of immediate climate action.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Nuray Mustafazade<\/strong>, a second-year Master\u2019s student from the Department of Physics and Ecology, spoke on <em>\u201cRise for the Climate: The Power of Youth.\u201d<\/em> Her presentation showcased inspiring examples of youth-led initiatives driving meaningful environmental change.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ali Karimov<\/strong>, a second-year student from the Department of Physics and Ecology, concluded the session with <em>\u201cThe Climate Crisis We Still Underestimate,\u201d<\/em> drawing attention to overlooked risks and the critical role of awareness and education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the presentations, participants engaged in an active discussion session, exchanging ideas and sharing perspectives on strengthening youth participation in climate leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The seminar once again demonstrated Mingachevir State University\u2019s commitment to promoting environmental awareness, encouraging academic dialogue, and empowering young people to take an active role in addressing global challenges.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mingachevir State University successfully organized a Scientific-Practical Seminar entitled \u201cClimate Leadership and Strengthening the Role of Youth\u201d The event brought together faculty members, young researchers, and students to discuss one of the most pressing global challenges of our time &#8211; climate change.
