On February 11, 2026, the third module of the 5-day international training program at Mingachevir State University was successfully conducted. The module, \u201cArtificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning Roadmap,\u201d aimed to provide a structured understanding of AI technologies, build fundamental knowledge in machine learning and deep learning, and develop practical skills. The training combined theoretical explanations with practical simulation exercises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The module was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Aid\u0259 Mustafayeva, Head of the Department of Information Technology and Ph.D. in Engineering. The training was conducted online via Microsoft Teams, with sessions starting at 11:00 and 15:00 Azerbaijan time (10:00 and 14:00 Turkey time). 87 participants attended the module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The first session was led by Dr. Muhammed Ali Ko\u015fan, Professor at Kahramanmara\u015f \u0130stiklal University, covering AI fundamentals and application areas, principles and key algorithms of machine learning, data preparation, and building small-scale machine learning projects. In addition to theoretical explanations, participants were shown practical mechanisms for constructing real models. During the practical simulation from 12:00\u201312:30, participants applied machine learning models on real datasets step by step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The second session focused on \u201cDeep Learning, Educational Applications, and Ethical Aspects.\u201d The session covered an introduction to deep learning, fundamentals of neural networks, applications of AI models in teaching, practical simulation examples, and discussions on ethical and strategic considerations of AI. During the practical session from 16:00\u201316:30, participants conducted interactive activities applying neural network models and integrating them into the educational environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Overall, the third module of the international training program played a key role in sharing modern scientific approaches in AI, strengthening fundamental and applied knowledge of teachers and researchers, and enhancing scientific-practical skills.
