On January 14, 2026, a training session on \u201cUrban Agriculture and Urban Farming\u201d was held at Mingachevir State University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The training was delivered by Alasfar Musayev, a lecturer at the Department of Economics of the University. During the session, participants were provided with detailed information on the organization of agricultural activities in urban environments, the role of the urban farming approach in modern city planning, and its significance for sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Within the framework of the training, practical approaches to efficient production models under limited resource conditions, opportunities for expanding green spaces in urban areas, and the application of innovative agrotechnologies were presented. At the same time, the contribution of the urban farming concept to ensuring food security and maintaining ecological balance was highlighted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The training was conducted in an interactive format, where participants\u2019 questions were addressed, and an exchange of ideas took place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
