Along with theoretical knowledge, detailed explanations supported by practical examples were provided, and numerous questions of interest were answered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The interactive session covered the following key topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The reasons why energy efficiency is considered the most effective and cost-efficient way to reduce carbon emissions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The impact of different energy sources used in power plants on carbon emissions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The role of smart factory, IoT, artificial intelligence, and Digital Twin technologies in improving energy efficiency in industry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Carbon capture technologies (CCS and DAC) and the feasibility of direct air carbon capture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The differences between carbon markets, carbon credits, and emission quotas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The essence of carbon tax and Emissions Trading System (ETS) mechanisms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Production of green hydrogen and its application in industry<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Practical examples of the 4R model and circular economy principles<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Within the framework of the training, global trends and innovative approaches were broadly analyzed, and active discussions were held among participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It should be noted that such training sessions contribute to enhancing the knowledge and skills of students and young professionals in the fields of sustainable development, green economy, and modern industrial practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of the session, participants highly appreciated the organization of the training and emphasized the importance of continuing such initiatives.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today, an educational training session on the topic \u201cGlobal Approaches to Carbon and Resource Management in Industry\u201d was organized at Mingachevir State University by Fatima Mammadova, a lecturer of the Department of Natural Sciences.
