On April 6, 2026, within the framework of the Second Forum of Azerbaijani and Kazakh Rectors held in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan, Mingachevir State University (MSU) signed Memorandums of Understanding with three prestigious higher education institutions of Kazakhstan \u2013 Manash Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University, Karaganda University named after Academician Y.A. Buketov, and Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The memorandums were signed by Anar Eminov, Rector of Mingachevir State University, and the heads of the partner higher education institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The signed documents envisage the expansion of cooperation in areas of mutual interest between the parties, the development of educational and scientific activities, as well as the strengthening of international academic partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the memorandums, the parties will cooperate in the preparation and implementation of joint scientific research projects, the promotion of exchanges among academic staff, students, and administrative personnel, and the enhancement of mutual interest in educational and research activities. In addition, conditions will be created for the participation of academic staff from partner universities in various teaching and scientific activities, as well as for undergraduate, master\u2019s, and doctoral students to benefit from educational and research opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the same time, the signed memorandums create an important foundation for the development of mutual cooperation in the fields of education, science, and innovation; the expansion of exchange opportunities for academic staff and students; the joint appointment of scientific supervisors at the master\u2019s level; the broadening of opportunities within the framework of the Orhun Exchange Program; and the implementation of joint research initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The documents also reflect important areas of cooperation, including the organization of joint conferences, symposiums, short-term courses, and scientific meetings; the exchange of innovative teaching and management practices; and the implementation of joint initiatives in the fields of sustainable development and environmental management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It should be noted that Mingachevir State University continues to consistently expand its international cooperation relations, strengthen its integration into the global educational space, and establish strategic partnerships aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
