Students of Mingachevir State University (MSU) participated in an educational infotour to the Balakhani Industrial Park organized by Tamiz Shahar OJSC as part of the university\u2019s activities promoting environmental awareness and sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The main purpose of the infotour was to enhance students\u2019 practical knowledge of waste management, waste sorting, and recycling processes, while fostering environmental responsibility and a green mindset among young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the visit, participants closely observed the operational processes of modern recycling facilities located in the Balakhani area. Students received detailed information about household waste sorting, the recycling of plastic, paper, glass, and other materials, waste-to-energy practices, and innovative technologies aimed at minimizing environmental impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Throughout the infotour, special emphasis was placed on the role of proper waste management in reducing carbon emissions, ensuring efficient use of resources, and supporting the development of a circular economy model. It was noted that such educational visits play an important role in strengthening students\u2019 environmental awareness and encouraging their more active participation in green campus initiatives and sustainability-oriented activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
