The event was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Turkological Congress held in Baku in 1926.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was noted that the First Turkological Congress played a significant role in the scientific and cultural history of Turkic peoples, making an important contribution to the formation and development of a common language, literature, and cultural values. It was emphasized that, as stated by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, the Congress played a crucial role in strengthening scientific and cultural unity among Turkic peoples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main objective of the event was to evaluate the historical significance of the First Turkological Congress from a scientific perspective, discuss scientific and cultural relations among Turkic peoples, and identify prospects for future cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The round table was opened with an introductory speech by Aygun Gadirova, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy, who highlighted the importance of the event. A video presentation related to the topic was also screened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within the framework of the event, presentations were delivered by Zeka Abilbeyli, lecturer at the Department of Humanities, on \u201cThe First Turkological Congress: A Path to Scientific Unity of the Turkic World\u201d; Nargiz Niftaliyeva, lecturer at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, on \u201cThe Psychological and Cultural Impact of the First Turkological Congress on the Formation of National Identity of Turkic Peoples\u201d; Sabina Novruzova, lecturer at the Department of Humanities, on \u201cThe First Turkological Congress and New Scientific Directions in the Study of Turkic Literature\u201d; and Leyla Babayeva, lecturer at the Department of Humanities, on \u201cFrom the First Turkological Congress to the Modern Era: Scientific Relations and Prospects in the Turkic World.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The presentations were followed by active discussions with students and an exchange of views on the topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, the event was of great importance in terms of strengthening scientific and cultural integration among Turkic peoples, studying shared historical heritage, and promoting the development of academic cooperation.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On May 6, 2026, a round table titled \u201cPlatform for Unity and Scientific Solidarity of Turkic Peoples\u201d was held at the Heydar Aliyev Museum of the Faculty of Pedagogy at Mingachevir State University (MSU).
