As part of these efforts, the next event was a master class jointly organized by the Faculty of Engineering and the Department of Mechanics of Mingachevir State University<\/strong>. The session was delivered by Associate Professor Allaz Haji Ahmad oglu Aliyev, PhD in Technical Sciences, from Azerbaijan Technical University<\/strong>, on the topic \u201cTransportation Safety and the Expansion of Road Infrastructure.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The master class mainly involved first- and second-year students majoring in Transportation Engineering<\/strong>. Its primary objective was to expand students\u2019 opportunities to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice, while enriching their professional understanding of transportation safety, road infrastructure, and engineering approaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n During the session, participants were informed about the importance of practical knowledge in the field of transportation engineering, the application of modern teaching methods, and the advantages of a student-centered approach. Allaz Aliyev<\/strong> provided detailed explanations on transportation safety issues, analysis of statistical data, the causes of road traffic accidents, and ways to eliminate these causes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The event proved beneficial in increasing students\u2019 interest in the field of transportation engineering and in shaping a more responsible attitude toward their future professional activities.
