A master class dedicated to current issues in Azerbaijani linguistics was organized at Mingachevir State University. Within the framework of the event, Tarana Nagiyeva \u2014 an employee of the Department of Azerbaijani Linguistics at Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, and senior lecturer \u2014 delivered a master class on the topic \u201cComplex Sentences with Subordinate Clauses.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The main purpose of the master class was to deepen students\u2019 theoretical knowledge of syntax, develop their ability to analyze linguistic facts, and familiarize them with modern linguistic approaches. During the lesson, the structure of subordinate complex sentences, the semantic and grammatical relationships between main and subordinate clauses, as well as various types of this sentence structure were explained in detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tarana Nagiyeva presented the topic in a systematic and consistent manner, explaining subordinate clause types such as cause, purpose, condition, time, and result with specific examples, while also highlighting their formation principles and usage features in speech. In order to reinforce theoretical knowledge, analyses of various texts were conducted during the lesson, and students were engaged in practical tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The active participation of students during the interactive master class was especially noted. Their questions were answered in detail, and extensive discussions were held around the topic. This contributed to the more effective organization of the lesson and deeper understanding of the subject matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
