On the occasion of February 2 \u2013 Azerbaijani Youth Day, students G\u00fclay H\u0259s\u0259nova and U\u011fur \u018fhm\u0259dzad\u0259, members of the \u201cBir\u201d Student Volunteer Program of Mingachevir State University, were awarded Certificates of Honor for their active public engagement in the field of volunteering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The award ceremony took place on January 30, 2026, within the framework of the \u201cSustainable Development Forum of Volunteer Organizations II.\u201d The forum was dedicated to February 2 \u2013 Azerbaijani Youth Day and organized by the Union of Volunteer Organizations of Azerbaijan with the support of the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the forum, discussions were held on the activities of volunteer organizations across the country, the sustainable development of the volunteer movement, increasing youth civic engagement, and opportunities for participation in social projects. Distinguished volunteers were also honored during the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It should be noted that at Mingachevir State University, the involvement of young students in volunteer activities and the development of their social responsibility, leadership, and civic initiative skills are consistently prioritized by the university administration.
