A new appointment has been made to the position of Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation at Mingachevir State University. According to the relevant order signed by the Minister of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Emin Amrullayev, Natavan Namazova has been appointed Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation of MDU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On this occasion, a presentation ceremony for the university staff was held on November 26, 2025. Rector of Mingachevir State University Anar Eminov read out the order issued by Minister Emin Amrullayev and emphasized that the new appointment is of great importance for systematizing and developing efforts aimed at strengthening scientific activities at the university, promoting innovative initiatives, and expanding international scientific cooperation. He congratulated Natavan Namazova and wished her success in her new role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the event, Natavan Namazova expressed her gratitude to Minister Emin Amrullayev for the trust placed in her and emphasized that she would work diligently to contribute to the development of scientific potential at MDU, the implementation of innovative projects, and the further strengthening of the scientific research environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Members of the university staff congratulated Natavan Namazova on her appointment and wished her success in her future activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Natavan Namazova has conducted long-term scientific research at Istanbul University and Kaunas University of Technology and is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Sustainable Development Issues<\/em>. She graduated with distinction from the Faculty of International Economic Relations at Azerbaijan State University of Economics in 2006 and completed her master\u2019s degree with honors in 2012. She holds a PhD in Economics and the academic title of Associate Professor. Since 2023, she has also served as a member and scientific secretary of the Expert Council on Economic Sciences under the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
