{"id":96973,"date":"2026-05-26T16:40:00","date_gmt":"2026-05-26T13:40:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mdu.edu.az\/?p=96973"},"modified":"2026-06-03T16:40:49","modified_gmt":"2026-06-03T13:40:49","slug":"mingachevir-state-university-students-qualify-for-the-final-stage-of-the-nationwide-olympiad-on-taxation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mdu.edu.az\/ru\/mingachevir-state-university-students-qualify-for-the-final-stage-of-the-nationwide-olympiad-on-taxation\/","title":{"rendered":"Mingachevir State University Students Qualify for the Final Stage of the Nationwide Olympiad on Taxation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On May 26, 2026, the qualifying round of the nationwide Olympiad on <strong>\u201cTaxation\u201d<\/strong> was held among university students within the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A total of 352 students representing various higher education institutions across the country participated in the qualifying stage of the Olympiad. The participants demonstrated their knowledge and competencies by answering test questions on the tax system and tax legislation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Twenty-seven students from Mingachevir State University (MSU) took part in the Olympiad. Based on the results of the qualifying round, five MSU students achieved high scores and secured places in the final stage. The following students will represent MSU in the finals:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Namiq Gadimli<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Farid Mehdizade<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tarana Nagiyeva<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aysun Nasirova<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ilkin Guluzade<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It should be noted that students who achieved scores above 50 and ranked among the highest performers in the qualifying round advanced to the final stage. The final stage of the Olympiad is scheduled to take place on June 12\u201314, 2026, at the administrative building of the Training Center of the State Tax Service located in the Shamakhi district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main objective of the nationwide Olympiad on <strong>\u201cTaxation\u201d<\/strong> is to promote tax culture and financial literacy among students, increase interest in the field of taxation, and contribute to the development of relevant knowledge and skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On behalf of the MSU community, we congratulate our students on qualifying for the final stage and wish them every success in the upcoming competition.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On May 26, 2026, the qualifying round of the nationwide Olympiad on \u201cTaxation\u201d was held among university students within the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.
