On June 5, 2026, a practical training session on \u201cAdaptation to an Inclusive Environment and Psychological Support\u201d was held at Mingachevir State University. The event was organized by the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology within the framework of the \u201cYear of Urban Planning and Architecture\u201d and in accordance with the \u201cStrategy for the Socio-Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2022\u20132026.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The purpose of the event was to contribute to the formation of an inclusive society, promote the integration of persons with disabilities into society, and support their social adaptation process and psychological well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Opening the training with an introductory speech, the Adviser on Social Affairs of Mingachevir State University spoke about the role of inclusiveness, equal opportunities, and psychological support in the sustainable development of society, emphasizing the importance of awareness-raising activities carried out in this direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The moderator of the event, Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of Mingachevir State University, Konul Jabbarova, provided information about the goals and objectives of the training program and highlighted the relevance of the topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of the training program, presentations and interactive sessions were held on successful adaptation to university life, stress management and emotional health, integration of children with disabilities into society, group psychological therapy, as well as psychological self-assessment and reflection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The topics presented by the lecturers of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology \u2014 Ilhama Ismayilova, Nargiz Niftaliyeva, Aydin Karimov and Gulnar Mammadova \u2014 as well as Yasaman Rasulova, a teacher at the Child and Family Support Center, were received with great interest by the participants. During the training, an exchange of views was held and participants\u2019 questions were answered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event was significant in terms of promoting inclusive values, strengthening psychological support mechanisms, and raising awareness about the social integration of different groups within society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
