Candidates with professional qualifications relevant to the profile of the faculty, an academic degree and academic title, and at least 5 years of scientific-pedagogical experience may participate in the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Job responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 To lead the planning and implementation of educational, scientific-research, methodological, organizational and educational activities at the faculty;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 To coordinate the activities of the academic staff of the faculty in organizing and conducting lectures, laboratory classes, practical and seminar sessions, and other forms of teaching;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 To supervise final state attestation, specialty internships, course and graduation projects, students\u2019 independent work, examinations, and the organization of educational work among students;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 To monitor the organization of the educational process at the faculty in accordance with existing regulatory documents, curricula and programs;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 To distribute the teaching workload of the academic staff and organize its discussion and approval;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 To approve individual and calendar plans of the academic staff;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 To lead the development of curricula for approved subjects and ensure their approval;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 To ensure the preparation of textbooks, teaching-methodological materials and teaching aids in accordance with these programs;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 To create conditions for the development of educational, scientific-research, innovation and practical training activities of undergraduate and graduate students studying at the faculty;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 To create conditions for the academic staff and students to conduct scientific-research work in accordance with the approved plan, organize discussions of completed research works and monitor the application of their results in production;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 To organize the activities of the Faculty Scientific Council and coordinate the work of the structural units of the faculty;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 To ensure the implementation of quality assurance, academic discipline, student-centered learning environment and modern management approaches at the faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The candidate must know:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 The Laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan \u201cOn Education\u201d and \u201cOn Science\u201d;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Decrees and orders of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan related to the fields of science and education;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Relevant decisions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Relevant decisions, orders and instructions of the central executive authority of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the field of education;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Requirements for training specialists with knowledge and skills in line with socio-economic development needs;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 State educational standards and programs approved for higher education;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Ways to bring conducted scientific research up to modern standards and organize the application of research results in the educational process and production;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Higher school pedagogy and psychology, as well as the preparation of curricula and programs;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 The content of programs for each taught subject, as well as extracurricular activities to be carried out by laboratory-technical staff and academic staff;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Issues related to supervising the scientific-research work of teachers and students;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 The study and dissemination of best practices of educational institutions;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 The use of technical teaching tools in the educational process;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Occupational safety, safety regulations, sanitary-hygienic and fire protection norms and rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The candidate\u2019s active engagement in scientific-research activities and publication of articles in high-indexed international and local scientific journals will be considered an advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Required documents:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013 Application addressed to the
