The training programme of the 5th \u201cCyber Summer School 2026\u201d cyber summer camp, organised by the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Organisations Association (ACOA), successfully continued on its second day. During the second day of training at the camp held in Mingachevir, participants attended theoretical and practical sessions covering the main areas of cybersecurity in the programme\u2019s \u201cBlue Team\u201d group, taught in Azerbaijani, and \u201cRed Team\u201d group, taught in English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of the second day\u2019s programme, training sessions continued for both groups on \u201cNetwork Security\u201d, \u201cWeb Application Security\u201d, \u201cScripting for Security\u201d, and \u201cOperating System Security\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The sessions were conducted by Safarali Safarli, a Cybersecurity Engineer at Azercell Telecom LLC, a platinum member of ACOA, and specialists from the National Cybersecurity Centre of the State Security Service. During the training, participants acquired theoretical knowledge of the principles of network security, vulnerabilities commonly encountered in web applications and methods of addressing them, the development of scripts for cybersecurity purposes, and the protection of operating systems. They also enhanced their skills in these areas by completing practical assignments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the end of the day, an interactive quiz was organised to assess and reinforce the knowledge acquired by the participants during the training sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It should be noted that the primary objective of the 5th \u201cCyber Summer School 2026\u201d cyber summer camp, held from 6 to 11 July, is to contribute to the development of professional human capital in the field of cybersecurity in the country and to strengthen young people\u2019s theoretical knowledge and practical skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the coming days, the camp will continue with theoretical and practical training sessions covering various areas of cybersecurity, team assignments, cyber competitions, and other development-oriented activities.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
