The Rector of Mingachevir State University, Anar Eminov, attended the “Demo Day” event of the 4th TUSI Incubation Program, organized within the framework of the “Skills for the Future” project implemented by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Innovation Center.
During the event, the launch of the 5th TUSI Incubation Program was announced as a continuation of the “Skills for the Future” project. At the opening ceremony, Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the Agency, Firudin Gurbanov, Deputy Minister of Science and Education, Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency, and Bakhtiyar Aslanbeyli, Vice President for External Relations and Communications of BP Caspian Region, highlighted the importance of developing the innovation ecosystem, supporting startup initiatives, and strengthening youth entrepreneurship skills.
During the “Demo Day,” startup teams selected for the 4th TUSI Incubation Program presented their projects and prototypes. Rector Anar Eminov closely reviewed the innovative solutions presented and engaged in discussions with the participants.
It should be noted that among the showcased startups was the “Servantist” project from Mingachevir State University. The active participation of university representatives in innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives is of significant importance for fostering a startup culture at MDU and developing students’ entrepreneurial skills.
