Awareness Video Filmed at Mingachevir State University Within the “No Waste Campus” Initiative to Highlight Food Waste

Within the framework of activities promoting sustainable development principles and environmental responsibility, Mingachevir State University (MSU) continues to implement the “No Waste Campus” initiative. As part of this initiative, an awareness video was filmed in the university’s student cafeteria to draw attention to the issue of food waste.

During the filming process, food waste generated in the student cafeteria was observed, measured, and analyzed. At the same time, students were provided with awareness-raising information about preventing food waste. They were informed about the importance of responsible consumption in daily food use, the efficient utilization of food resources, and the need to reduce waste.

The main goal of the initiative is to foster responsible consumption habits among students, reduce food waste, and promote a sustainable lifestyle within the university environment. It is expected that such awareness activities will contribute to strengthening environmental consciousness among students and encourage a more responsible approach to the use of resources.

It should be noted that Mingachevir State University regularly implements various initiatives and projects aimed at promoting sustainable development principles, increasing environmental awareness, and fostering a culture of responsible consumption.
