On March 6, 2026, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Mingachevir State University and “Ingress Group” LLC. The memorandum envisages the establishment of long-term and effective cooperation aimed at strengthening the integration of higher education with non-formal education, reinforcing students’ theoretical knowledge with practical skills, and promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology-oriented initiatives.
According to the memorandum, the parties will cooperate in organizing seminars, presentations, and professional development trainings, promoting startup and innovation projects, arranging industrial and professional internships for students, and implementing various projects in the fields of technology and innovation.
Within the framework of the cooperation, opportunities for joint activities with Ingress Academy were also discussed. It was noted that through the academy, it will be possible to organize face-to-face or online training sessions for the students and staff of Mingachevir State University. These trainings are expected to contribute not only to the professional development of students but also to the professional growth of university employees.
The parties also considered the organization of startup competitions, idea contests, masterclasses, bootcamps, and hackathons in order to encourage students’ engagement in innovative activities. It was emphasized that these initiatives will contribute to the development of technological knowledge and skills among the youth of the region and support their more active participation in the innovation ecosystem.
The memorandum also envisages the involvement of students in industrial and professional internships at “Ingress Group” LLC and its partner organizations, as well as the creation of practical experience opportunities aligned with educational programs. In addition, the implementation of dual certificate programs developed jointly by the parties and the alignment of certificates with international standards are planned.
It should be noted that the signed memorandum creates an important cooperation platform that contributes to expanding collaboration between Mingachevir State University and the business sector, enhancing students’ practical skills, and promoting innovation and technology-oriented initiatives in the region.
