School Students Visit Physics Laboratory at Mingachevir State University as Part of “Physics Month”

Within the framework of “Physics Month” held in general education institutions under the Central Aran Regional Education Department, special visits were organized for school students from Mingachevir and surrounding regions to the Physics Laboratory of Mingachevir State University (MSU).

The initiative aimed to increase young students’ interest in science and expand their practical knowledge. Students from Salahlı village secondary school, as well as secondary schools No. 8 and No. 18 of Mingachevir, participated in the event.

During the visit, students toured the university’s Physics Laboratory and received detailed explanations about the working principles of various physical devices. The practical experiments conducted in the laboratory and demonstrations of how the equipment operates played a significant role in enhancing students’ scientific and technical understanding.

Throughout the sessions, participants gained broader insights into the application areas of the devices and became familiar with the practical aspects of science. Their high level of interest and active participation contributed greatly to the success of the event.

It was noted that such initiatives organized within the framework of “Physics Month” make an important contribution to fostering scientific thinking among school students and promoting practice-oriented learning approaches.
