An event titled “Green Energy Systems and Climate Resilience: LCA, Carbon Footprint and Sustainable Policy Strategies” will be held on May 13, 2026, organized by the Institute of Sustainable Energy and Regional Development of Mingachevir State University (MSU).
The main objective of the event is to discuss current issues related to green energy systems, climate resilience, reduction of carbon emissions, digital energy solutions, and sustainable development policies, as well as to promote scientific and practical approaches in these areas.
The event will take place at the Training Center of “Azerbaijan TPP” LLC on May 13, 2026, at 15:00.
The opening speech of the event will be delivered by Ruhiyya Huseynova, Associate Professor and Director of the Institute of Sustainable Energy and Regional Development of Mingachevir State University.
Within the framework of the program, presentations will be delivered on topical issues such as smart grids, artificial intelligence-based energy optimization, carbon emission management, post-COP31 climate commitments, NDCs, environmental risks in the energy sector, integration of renewable energy sources with digital technologies, circular economy models, and life cycle assessment (LCA) of energy systems.
The event will bring together academic staff, students, researchers, energy sector experts, representatives of public and private institutions, as well as participants interested in sustainable energy and climate policy issues.
It should be noted that such initiatives implemented at Mingachevir State University serve to promote environmental responsibility, innovative energy solutions, and climate resilience approaches within the framework of the university’s green campus and sustainable development strategy.
