On July 25, 2025, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Mingachevir State University (MSU) and the Institute of Psychology Research (LLC). The memorandum was signed by the Rector of the university, Anar Eminov, and the Chairman of the Institute, Elnur Rustamov.

On this occasion, a delegation led by the Rector of MSU, Anar Eminov, visited the Institute, where discussions were held on the key areas of future partnership and cooperation.

Chairman Elnur Rustamov provided comprehensive information about the Institute’s scientific research capacity, international cooperation activities, and the projects implemented in recent years. He noted that the memorandum signed with MSU would not only strengthen the practical application of scientific knowledge, but also contribute to improving the quality of psychological services. He particularly emphasized that students would have the opportunity to develop their theoretical knowledge and practical skills in fields such as psychological services, social work, and inclusive education through projects to be carried out at the Institute.

Rector Anar Eminov expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and support extended to the delegation. He underlined his confidence that this cooperation would contribute significantly to the professional development of students studying in relevant specialties at MSU, encourage their active involvement in socially oriented projects, and at the same time create new opportunities for the university’s academic staff in scientific research activities. The Rector also stressed that the partnership would not be limited to the exchange of experience alone, but would additionally include joint scientific projects, conferences, training programs, and methodological support initiatives.

Following the presentation on the Institute’s scientific research activities, the Memorandum of Cooperation between the two parties was officially formalized.

The Memorandum envisages joint initiatives in the fields of education, scientific research, and social responsibility, as well as the involvement of students in practical activities at the Institute, the joint preparation of scientific publications, and mutual support in various projects. Within the framework of the cooperation, several collaborative initiatives in education and practical training are planned. In this regard, one of the main priorities is the engagement of undergraduate and graduate students of MSU, studying in the specialties of “Socio-Psychological Services in Education,” “Social Work,” “Preschool Education,” and “Primary School Teaching,” in the Institute’s scientific research activities, including their participation as volunteers and the organization of internship opportunities.

In addition, with the support of the Institute, plans include the establishment of a Psychology Center at the university, the organization of professional development courses, trainings, seminars, and master classes, as well as the provision of consultancy and expert support in the improvement of educational programs and course syllabi.

During the visit, the delegation also became acquainted with the building and material-technical facilities of the Institute of Psychology Research. Representatives of MSU showed great interest in the conditions created within the Institute’s laboratories and psychological service rooms, and an agreement was reached regarding the effective utilization of this environment in future cooperation activities.

It should be noted that the Institute of Psychology Research (LLC) was established by the “Modern Azerbaijani Psychologists” Society and commenced its activities in Baku in 2018. Since its establishment, the Institute has implemented numerous significant initiatives in both theoretical and practical fields of psychological science.

It should also be emphasized that, in line with MSU’s development strategy, this cooperation will make an important contribution to expanding an education model integrated with the real sector and to strengthening the applied study of psychological sciences.
