On May 5, 2025, a tree-planting campaign was organized on the campus of Mingachevir State University. Within the framework of the initiative, attended by a group of university staff members and students, various types of trees were planted and activities aimed at expanding green areas across the campus were carried out.

The main purpose of the campaign was to promote environmental responsibility, strengthen the green campus environment, protect biodiversity, and foster environmentally conscious attitudes among students.

During the initiative, participants actively took part in planting trees and providing initial care for them. As part of the event, information was provided about the importance of green spaces in urban ecosystems, the reduction of carbon emissions, and the principles of sustainable development.

It was noted that landscaping and environmental awareness activities implemented at Mingachevir State University constitute an important part of the university’s efforts to establish a healthy, sustainable, and environmentally friendly campus environment.
