Master Class on “Active Interactive Teaching: It’s Easy” Held at Mingachevir State University

A series of events aimed at improving the quality of scientific and pedagogical activities, expanding the application of modern teaching technologies, and developing the professional competencies of future teaching staff continue at Mingachevir State University. Within this framework, another master class was jointly organized by the Faculty of Education and the Department of Humanities of the university.

The master class was delivered by Fakhraddin Allahverdi oghlu Yusifov, Associate Professor and PhD in Pedagogy at Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, on the topic “Active Interactive Teaching: It’s Easy.” The event mainly involved second-year students majoring in Azerbaijani Language and Literature Teaching and aimed to expand their opportunities for the practical application of theoretical knowledge.

During the lesson, the essence of active and interactive teaching methods, their role in the modern education system, and the importance of a student-centered approach were explained on scientific grounds. At the same time, the specific features of the teaching profession, the personal and professional qualities of educators, effective communication skills with the audience, and issues related to the development of innovative lesson models were widely discussed.

Various interactive methods were applied throughout the training process to ensure the active participation of students in the lesson, while also developing their analytical thinking, independent reasoning, and discussion skills.

The master class served as a motivating platform for students, encouraging them to approach their future professional activities with greater responsibility and creativity. At the end of the event, students’ questions were answered in detail, and an exchange of ideas on the topic was held.

It should be noted that such master classes are of significant importance at Mingachevir State University in terms of improving the quality of education, applying modern pedagogical approaches, and training competitive teaching professionals.
