10 Students of Mingachevir State University Will Study at Universities in Türkiye and Kazakhstan: They Were Wished Success and Presented with Their Tickets

On January 29, 2026, a presentation ceremony was held at Mingachevir State University for students admitted to higher education institutions in Türkiye and Kazakhstan. Within the framework of the event, airline tickets were presented to students selected under the international exchange program, and they were wished success and continuous academic achievement in their future studies.

The presentation ceremony took place in the university’s assembly hall within the framework of the presentation of the “Towards the Summit” Scholarship, International Education, and Scientific Innovations Platform, organized with the participation of Member of Parliament Ceyhun Mammadov and the Public Council under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The event was attended by the university administration, members of the academic and administrative staff, undergraduate and graduate students, as well as school students from Mingachevir.

Ten students of Mingachevir State University were admitted to prestigious universities in Türkiye and Kazakhstan within the framework of the Orhun Exchange Program. On this occasion, travel tickets were presented to the students to facilitate their smooth integration into the international academic environment.

Accordingly, MSU student Nurlana Mahmudova was admitted to Karaganda Buketov University, while Vusala Aliyeva was admitted to Istanbul Commerce University. Nazrin Ibrahimova, Shams Ibrahimova, Malak Yusibova, Gultaj Khalilli, and Leyla Aliyeva were admitted to Firat University. Yusif Alakbarov and Fidan Mammadli were admitted to Ege University, while Sarkhan Ismayilov was admitted to Karamanoglu Mehmetbey University. They will continue their education at these universities during the spring semester of the 2025/2026 academic year.

It should be noted that Mingachevir State University supports the integration of students into the global education space through international exchange programs and continuously expands its cooperation with partner universities in this direction.
