On the occasion of November 8 – Victory Day, an event titled “The Glorious Page of Our Victory” was organized at the library of the second academic building of Mingachevir State University. Within the framework of the event, library staff spoke about the historical significance of Victory Day, its moral value, and its importance within the heroic legacy of the Azerbaijani people.

The event continued with speeches by university lecturers and students and attracted attention in terms of promoting the spirit of patriotism and conveying the meaning and significance of Victory Day accurately and comprehensively to the younger generation. During the speeches, it was especially emphasized that the historic victory achieved in the 44-day Patriotic War was the result of the unity and determination of the Azerbaijani people.

At the end of the event, the Director of the Library and Information Center of Mingachevir State University highlighted the importance of organizing such events, thanked the participants, and noted the necessity of continuing similar activities in order to strengthen national spirit among young people.
