Smart, Safe and Sustainable Campus: Access Control Systems Expanded at MSU

Mingachevir State University continues to implement measures aimed at advancing digital transformation and the smart campus concept.

In order to enhance the level of security, ensure the prompt and transparent management of entry and exit processes, and expand the application of modern management technologies, facial recognition systems have been installed and put into operation in other academic buildings of the university as well.

Through the new system, the entry and exit of students, academic staff, and administrative employees to university buildings are recorded electronically. This contributes to strengthening security measures across the campus and enables more efficient organization of human resource management processes.

It should be noted that facial recognition technology is an integral part of the smart management solutions applied at the university. The system allows real-time monitoring of entry and exit data, preparation of statistical reports, and further enhancement of campus security.

Within the framework of the measures implemented to develop the digital university model at MSU, the expansion of smart campus technologies is also planned for the future.

The work carried out in this direction not only serves the university’s goals of sustainable development, digital transformation, and innovative governance, but also makes an important contribution to the formation of a modern educational environment aligned with international standards.
